From 9 to 11 October, the University of Hamburg will celebrate the 20th anniversary of theOffice for Theology of Peace Churches (ATF)takes place.

Judy Bailey sings. At the age of eight in the church choir in Barbados. At 17 her first own songs with guitar. At 21 in London for her first own album. She sings her songs with courage and beaming joy, with an unstoppable hope. She sings in refugee camps and prisons, in old churches and new clubs, at festivals and festivals in Hong Kong and the Congo, in Canada, India, Australia and again and again in Germany, where she lives today.

Judy is a world musician and a citizen of the world. Her musical journey has taken her to every continent, to twelve of her own albums, collaborations with musicians from Eddy Grant to the Söhne Mannheims and the Bonn Beethoven Orchestra. She sang on the official Football World Cup album in 2010 and in the summer of 2013 at the World Youth Day in Rio in front of over 3 million people and Pope Francis. In 2017 she played at Reformation festivals from Finland and Romania to Munich, Berlin and Wittenberg.
